Beijing Subway Line 6 west extension integration design In accordance with the concept of “Beijing Corridor,” the design creates a modern urban space integrating transportation, functionality, spatiality, information, and culture. The public urban space is centring around the station track, making the station the focal point of the neighbouring service and public centre. A multifunctional development complex (featuring, residential, economic, and entertainment centres) is located within 500 meters radius of the subway track, forming a modern TOD (Transit-oriented development) community consisted of multiple means of transportation.
